Jan and Tom Appleby arrived in Australia from the UK in 1985. Tom worked in the casino industry becoming a floor manager responsible for up to 100 gaming tables. In 2000 they became interested in investment properties, as a means of creating wealth, and over the next 8 years built an investment property portfolio of 9 properties worth in excess of $3M AUD.

In 2001 we decided to help other ordinary people to invest in property and in 2004 Tom retired from the casino industry and joined Jan full time to see them help people purchase hundreds of investment properties.

In 2008 they became aware of the great opportunities for investors in overseas markets, especially in the GO Zone in the USA. To this end they purchased in the GO Zone through the Property Direct Group and were so impressed with the opportunity that this represented that they accepted an offer to become the Australasian representatives for the Group in September 2008.

They now have access to great property deals not only in the USA but also in France and Spain and look forward to helping other Australian investors discover the benefits of these overseas markets.

Danny Silver is an international Real Estate expert and has been marketing new-build property for over 33 years - with the same group! He began in Florida where he spent 8 years; then took up group marketing in Spain where he remained for nearly 12 years; followed by 3 years in Israel/Middle East. Since late 1997 Danny has been managing director of Propriete "Direct" France who market the development groups properties to the overseas markets.

Born in Great Britain, Danny Silver is also property marketing consultant for some of the world's leading banking institutions and developers in over 20 countries worldwide. He is also the most sought after speaker and teacher in the USA on buying and holding Real Estate internationally, and has lectured with experts such as Tom Hopkin, Zig Ziglar, Donald Trump and Robert Shemin, (America's No. 1 Real Estate "Guru" ) Danny has been an active property investor for over 25 years - on both sides of the Atlantic! He has homes in Paris, Monaco & Marbella.
